Shift: 7:30AM - 5:00PM

Pay Rate: $15.00 to $20.00 DOE

Responsibilities

  • Standard office practices and procedures, including record keeping, filing and preparation of correspondence.
  • Practices and techniques of sound business communication, correct English usage, including spelling grammar and punctuation.
  • Provisions of the Public Records Act. Customer Service practices telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to perform and maintain a typing speed of no less than 50 wpm. Record keeping, filing and purchasing practices and procedures.

  • Applicable business and technical software maintained at a progressive skill level required of the position.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain accuracy, may be tasked to proofread documents and materials.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in multi-tasking administrative support environment; experience involving a high level of interaction with the public is desirable.
  • Associate degree in business or related field may substitute for one year of experience.
  • College level course work or an Associate degree or equivalent college level course units from an accredited community/junior college or university in business, public administration, project management or related field is desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
