AUDIT MANAGER - DIRECT HIRE- IMMEDIATE OPENING - SALARY DOE

Job Description:

The audit manager is the liaison between the Partner, the client and the Staff from the Firms office. Responsible for managing multiple small business accounting projects. Audit Managers develop and train staff.

Essential Functions:

*Manages and completes multiple engagements all of levels of complexity.

*Keeps the partners informed on all important developments.

*Resolves clients issues and problems.

*Supervises, trains and develops staff.

*Conducts engagement and mid-year performance evaluations.

*Prepares invoices for partner review.

*Accountable to supervise, engage and manage satellite office.

*Enhances personal and Firm reputation by conducting seminars.

Education:

*Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting or Finance; Masters degree in Accounting

*Minimum 5 years in public accounting ~ specifically in governmental accounting.

*Experience with paperless software a plus.
