Job Description

Lyneer Staffing is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Assistant in San Diego, Contract to possible hire.

Clinical Trial Assistant Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Process study-related documents such as contracts, budgets, and invoices

·Validate study related invoices submitted for payment and confirm against study database

Collect, track and prepare documents for IRB submissions

·Prepare, package, and ship study materials to clinical study sites and laboratories

·Point of contact for investigators, coordinators, and the site study team to ensure relevant study documentation is received in a timely manner

·Enter monitored clinical data from case report forms (CRFs) into the study database and generate, distribute, track and resolve data queries

·Maintain and update sample database on an ongoing basis

·Assist in retrieving and checking in clinical samples for processing

·Ensure for both chain of custody for sample tracking and quality of sample processing

· Manage sample supply, accountability, and storage during assigned clinical studies by reviewing product usage reports, resolving discrepancies, and inspecting clinical site accountability records and storage

· Contributes to developing CRFs, annotated CRFs draft source documents, CRF completion guidelines and other study aids for investigational products


Clinical Trial Assistant Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:

· Regularly walks, stands, and sits

· Ability to drive or board an airplane including overnight visits as required for clinical study site visits

· Regularly works on a computer for approximately 6-8 hours a day

· Frequently lifts, pushes/pull, and carries up to 20 pounds when transporting samples for up to 4 hours per week

· Exposed to extreme cold for typically 2 hours per month when assisting with removing samples from freezers or loading inventory

· Exposed to hazardous materials (dry ice) on a monthly basis

· Must follow lab safety practices when working in the freezer or with hazardous materials including use of personal protective equipment such as gloves, lab coats, and safety glasses


Job Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION & PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


· Bachelor’s degree in biological or related sciences


· Minimum 6 months of clinical study experience with a basic understanding of a specified functional area


· Life science industry experience desirable
