Job Description


Temp to hire position with our client located in Millville, NJ.  Looking for an experienced customer service representative from a service or manufacturing/distribution environment. 


The primary responsibility of the customer service representative is to provide information about the company’s products and services to consumers who contact prior by telephone.  In addition will need to respond to e-mails, letters and faxes.    The information to the consumer needs to be presented in a professional, timely, accurate and consistent manner.  The consumer information is documented in the database for all consumer contacts.  The employee will be cross trained on all brands.


Duties & Skills:


Handles inbound consumer service phone calls

Strong oral communications skills and tone of voice (articulate, pleasant, friendly)

                                                                                                                                                                                                      Excellent consumer service skills;  ability to diffuse irate callers, listening skills, avoid call escalations, represent the company in a professional manner

 

Organizational skills (responding to consumer in timely fashion and keeping diary current)

Problem resolution skills (ability to work independently to solve consumer issues based on experience and job knowledge)

Conversant with features of products to handle complaints, inquiries, and purchase questions

Reliable (arrives to work on a timely basis and can be counted on to complete assignments)

Data entry must be accurate, concise and thorough

Skills/Experience required:

Prior experience in a call center or retail environment

Type 45 wpm

Be reliable, possess strong communication skills, and excellent consumer service skills, diplomatic oral/written skills

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Personal Characteristics/Skills

Responsible; People oriented; Organized; Dependable; Motivated; Proactive; Problem solving skills;

MS Office/PC proficiency,

Knowledge of Sales Force software, or ability to quickly learn

Bilingual Spanish a plus
