Job Description

Lyneer Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified Executive Assistant for our client in Halethorpe, MD. This is a temp-to-direct hire position, and pay will convert from hourly to salary once taken on permanently. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and will be experienced with SAP and MS Office, Word, and Excel.


Responsibilities:

  • Support both the General Manager and the Director of Purchasing
  • Handle all the duties of an Office Manager for the branch
  • Maintain corporate calendars
  • Schedule events and conference rooms
  • Arrange travel plans and book air flights for executives
  • Provide reports
  • Answer calls and emails
  • Create letters and other correspondence
  • Responsible for written and verbal communication with vendors, internal customers, and management
  • Proactively maintain office supplies
  • Keep up with the setup and takedown of meetings, conferences, and other daily, weekly, and quarterly tasks
  • Part of the corporate procurement support will include accurate data entry of contact information into the proprietary software system, bid/contract preparation, and meeting goals and deadlines for paperwork and bid requirements

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates must have a proven track record with excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize urgent tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Must type accurately 48 wpm plus have a command of Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Experience with SAP and Sharepoint is helpful but not required

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm (some overtime may be required)

Pay:

$22-$24/hr
