Your Day:

  • Provide field maintenance support in an assigned geographic area
  • Manage a queue of dispatched service calls to ensure that customers are contacted within the established time frames and incidents are closed in a quality manner.
  • Troubleshoot, monitor, repair, schedule, and provide mechanical/electrical preventative maintenance on a variety of postage meters and mailing solutions inserter/sorting machines.
  • Plan and perform equipment upgrades and new installations.
  • Provide client training, phone support, emergency on-site assistance, and on-call availability as needed.


Job Requirements

About You:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in maintaining, repairing, or installing mailing or comparable equipment is required.
  • AA degree in Electronics, Computer Science or related field of study is preferred.
  • Successful completion of Electronics course work usually provided in a program at a trade school or community college.
  • Have a proven background in electro-mechanics troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures.
  • Communicate clearly, explain equipment maintenance or repair needs to management technicians and other employees.
  • Follow instructions and take direction.
  • Use basic electrical/electronic testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or lift and/or move up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
  • Work a flexible schedule and overtime as required.
  • Available to travel 10% of the time.
