Job Snapshot

Job Description

makes deliveries happen faster for businesses and consumers. We’ve developed a unique east coast delivery network positioned to enhance the speed and flexibility of last-mile delivery. We help consumers get products more quickly while lowering the cost of distribution for the businesses they buy from. We have over 1,300 employees who share a passion for great service, connecting you with 4,600 independent couriers who achieve on-time delivery seven days a week, enabling our expanding delivery network to reach more people every day.

The Northeast Sort Center is a fast paced warehouse environment. The process consists of unloading packages from trailers, sorting the work and sending the packages out in the proper trailer. The hub is a key component for getting the packages from the customer to over 20 branches throughout the East Coast and Midwest. The branches then deliver the packages to the end consumer.

The successful Freight Coordinator candidate will be:

  • Sorting packages based on size and destination.

  •  You’ll stand in one place for extended periods of time, and be walking a good distance around the facility – good shoes are a must! No open toed shoes.

  • Building pallets, wrapping pallets, transporting pallets with pallet jack, and sorting packages and pallets. All hands on deck! You can expect to handle packages from small envelopes to boxes ranging up to 40 pounds.

Freight Coordinators will be manually wrapping finished pallets, which means moving in a sideways, circular motion several times in a row. You’ve got your head on straight, we think you can handle it.
