Job Description

Provides clerical / administrative support to one or more functional areas of Human Resource, such as recruitment, staffing, personnel records, employee or labor relations, compensation, benefits, training and or EEO / AA.  Processes a variety of applications, employment, enrollment, pay change, informational and other confidential forms including payroll.  May conduct and summarize local surveys to gather information for policy development and planning.  Maintains and distributes current employee information, policy and procedure manuals and other communications.  May perform duties involving employee communications, such as pre-employment screening, responding to routine questions on human resource policies and procedures, identifying potential issues and grievances.  Operates a personal computer and appropriate software.  Responsible for facility payroll processing.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 12 to 24 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Additionally, knowledge of 'Windows / Excel', RedPrairie, PeopleSoft, and payroll processing functions will be required.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Flexible to work in various shifts, departments and locations as required.

Overtime as required.

Weekends as required.

Holiday’s as required.
