Our client is in search of a Mail Sorter. In this role, you will ensure the efficient and timely processing and handling of customer outbound and inbound mail.

Your Day:

  • Sort all mail by sort area requirements and in accordance with company quality process standards 
  • Meet sorting production quota standards
  • Inspect each piece of mail to ensure the indicia are affixed correctly and the zip code on the indicia matches the address zip code
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area
  • Duties may include reassignment to alternate operational areas as business needs require

Job Requirements

About You:

  • Understand and carry out oral instructions
  • Ability to sort alphabetically and numerically
  • Understand standardized math processes, e.g., count, addition, and subtraction
  • Work as a member of a team
  • Interface with other employees in the same department on a regular basis
  • Lift up to 35 lbs with the ability to lift, bend, reach, and stand.

Shift Hours:

  • 1st 12pm – 8:30pm
  • 3rd 8pm – 4:30am & 10pm – 6:30am
  • Able to work weekends
