Lyneer Staffing is seeking an experienced Pathology Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Pathology Assistant with at least 2 years of experience.

Pay rate: $26.32 - $33.84, depending on experience.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Qualified candidate will be doing gross examinations/dissections of all surgical specimens – small (skin biopsy, colonoscopy), or large (uterus or lung resection)
• Will work with a group of 10 pathologists, will be doing all of the grossing (gross dissection)
• Will work directly with 2 other PAs, will need to be able to communicate and be a team-player

• Experience required:
• Candidate must have been working in the pathology field for 2+ years and be able to pass high-complexity testing
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree, at least (biology or life-sciences)
• If you have gone through a certified Pathologist Assistant program (AAPA, pathassist.org), you would have a Master’s degree and their AAPA
• Candidates who are on-the-job trained, no certification, will NOT be excluded - prefer school training

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm (rotating weekends, once every 3 weekends + rotating holidays, outlined below)

• Rotating Weekends Schedule:
• Saturdays - half-day - 9:30a - 1:30p, (or until work is complete, which may be a little past 1:30p)
• Sunday are on-call-only for a STAT case.
• Rotating Holidays with other PAs for on-call STAT coverage only
