Job Description

Great opportunity for a Contract to Hire Payroll Specialist right in the heart of Center City! This company is dedicated to giving back to the community and needs to fill this position quickly. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Review the online employee timesheets on a bi-weekly basis for accuracy and completeness.
  • Download the hours reported on the system into ADP for payroll processing.  
  • Create other earnings and deduction batches.  
  • Complete the payroll submission process; review the payroll preview with the Director of Finance and approve the payroll. 
  • Prepare funding for 403B
  • Fund the flexible spending account
  • Assist in audit preparation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or higher desired
  • A minimum of three (3) years of payroll experience, ADP experience preferred
  • ADP Workforce Now, MIP accounting software, Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Good time management skills
