Job Description

Quality Control Administrative assistant

Purpose: To ensure that products are conforming with the agreed quality standards and non-compliances are dealt with effectively to avoid delays and shipment of defective products to the customer


Organize and allocate daily quality control activities considering priorities, capacity, and competences

  • Ensure stock is being restricted and requested in a timely manner in efforts to meet a hour KPI deadline
  • Review all non-compliances raised by the inspectors and validate defects and classification
  • Create Non-conformance reports to be shared with global teams
  • Follow instructions from the global team for the resolution of the non-compliances and provide support to the QC Team
  • Maintain the upkeep with multiple quality spreadsheets ensuring all data entered is accurate
  • Main point of contact for the Quality Department with strong emphasis on email communication
  • Maintain and keep a solid record of retail and pullback returns
  • Record and report on the hours used by the inspector for each activity
  • Ensure housekeeping is maintained daily.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification / EXPERIENCE

-Quality experience in the apparel industry preferred

-Experience with an RF gun/SAP knowledge

-Good attention to details with strong follow through

-Follows direction and take the lead on daily tasks

-Works diligently while not needing direct supervision

-Must be able to read, write and speak English

-Must be able to work a flexible schedule /overtime as needed (before or after shift)

-Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
