Job Description

The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all warehouse products entering the building are accurately accounted for and documentation input into the Warehouse Management System. Report any discrepancies to Supervisor with specifics and documentation.

Verify product description, UPC, Unit of Measure and quantity received against ordering/receiving document to ensure accuracy.

Unpacks and examines incoming shipments and records shortages.

Responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders.

Operates pallet jack and electric pallet jack (forklift a plus).

Enters receipts into daily log book.

Enters received product information into Warehouse Management System (depending upon client and/or material).

Ensure all receipts are received accurately and in a timely manner.

Perform audits of Receiving Clerks to ensure that all material is received accurately.

Schedule daily deliveries with tracking companies, etc.

Ensure Receiving Procedures are followed at all times.
